The 2nd Annual Outer Banks Seafood Festival will be held outdoors on Saturday, October 19, 2013 with the kickoff party being held on Friday October 18th. Both events will be held on the 10 acre soundfront Windmill Point site in Nags Head. The Saturday event features top draw entertainment mixed with great cooking of fresh, local seafood, a bit of education and storytelling about the region’s fishing heritage, cooking demonstrations, local craftspeople, and a whole lot of family fun. Nearly 20 local restaurants have committed to serve their signature dishes featuring fish and seafood caught along the Outer Banks – resulting in an unmatched “fusion-style” (small portion sizes) sampling from some of the best restaurants on the beach.
